If you say, Nope, not from a book. American Idol is actually found in a book, they probably would think youre weird. Although American Idol isnt their own idea, who will win is an idea they thought of on their own. Also, they probably got American Idol from TV, not a book they read, even if its found in a book.Hopefully all of you are on the same page as me so far?Now to the question: In high school, a teacher told us there used to be some people who believed evil spirits caused mental disorders. They then would drill holes in the heads of the person acting crazy and it would make them stop acting weird, in reality brain damage, so they were under the false impression that it released the evil spirits. So years later, one of my roommates asked me what I thought the main weakness of the scientific method is. My response, "It's always possible that there is another theory out there that can explain the same exact evidence better." Him, "Well, all you have to do is rule out all other theories." Then I responded that no matter how hard you try it's always possible there's another possibility. I used the historical event I heard from a high school teacher years ago (which I never read in a book), and made up a pretend experiment of how the Scientific Method could go wrong. I said that scientists could have a control and experimental group where they drilled holes in an experimental group, but not a control group, to test their theory that evil spirits cause insanity (kind of like how they have an experimental control to test new drugs. However, the scientists wouldn't prove because the better explanation would be that there was really brain damage. Ive never seen a book use that as a hypothetical experiment of how the scientific method could go wrong. Then my roommate said, "Nope, not from a book." I didn't know what that word was until I just looked it up. All I did was took a historical event that my high school teacher mentioned years ago, and then invented a hypothetical experiment out of it that one could put in a peer-review journal. I only pointed out that scientists could hypothesize that evil spirits cause insanity, and in the peer-review journal conclude that it's true because their observation that drilling in the head stops the insanity (indirect hypothesis testing, which scientists do all the time with unobservables). I only used it to back when I said, "There may always be a better theory to explain the evidence" (which in the context wasn't presented as my own idea) using the hypothetical experiment (my own idea since I never saw it in a book). I used a historical event that I never saw in a book to create a hypothetical experiment that I doubt anyone would use in a book.I wasn't trying to say that the example I used was any good. I just didn't get how my hypothetical experiment was found in a book, while my roommate saying the null hypothesis possibly being true is less from a book, when the null hypothesis weakness is talked about all the time in statistics classes, which he took earlier. I felt like he was being hypocritical. I really want to take pictures and binoculars so I can get 'up close' So, can I take them?I did check the website before I asked this question. (Concerts and other Events: The Event Promoter reserves the right to deny camera use at any time during or before the concert and to prohibit the use of any camera that is deemed unacceptable. Cameras with detachable lens are prohibited at all TD Banknorth Garden concerts. The use of flash photography is also prohibited.) To me that's very up in the air...not clear. Since I am traveling from Nevada to Boston to see this concert, and will be by myself, what happens if I get to the gate and they refuse my simple digital camera? What do I do then? Do I throw or give my camera away, or miss the concert in order to keep my camera? I tried calling the box office, but there is never a live person to answer the phone. How do I contact someone with the answer? The concert promoter? It looks like there is no hard/fast rule.Hope someone who had been to a concert there may have an answer, or someone who has been to a previous Idol concert.My seats are good enough to get fairly good photos; anyway they are just my tangible proof to myself that I was actually there. Still don't really know.I guess first of all, how can we be sure that what we think we want is what we really want? You may say, by going for it, but what if we spend our whole life chasing a dream that wasn't meant for us?Take for example: American Idol, you see all these people with all their minds towards this dream... yet sometimes or most of the times, the person that wins, is not that one who had set his or her whole life towards it, but the one that just felt like auditioning, or trying out, but never even imagined passing or getting to the finals. And over and over, I see people putting all the strength in becoming like a music singer, yet everybody around can see that they are going and will go nowhere, yet those people "fight" for that dream. But it is worth it? Shouldn't we just let life take us? not like we don't decide or control... but just making small decisions everyday, living for the day without paying too much attention to those "big dreams"?I have found that most of the people that have big dreams just end up wasting their lives, because only a small percentage fulfill them, yet I've seen a lot of people who never really had huge dreams, but they just end up being in the place where they would have dreamed!I don't know if you get me...So what do you think? Since the Backstreet Boys and alot of artists from 1998 till now, basically have been using my art work and song lyrics without my legal permission and committing arbitration(a company invading a person's personal life, computer, etc.), framing, watching them harass a friend of mine online from California in a similar situation till she stalked Paula Abdul and killed herself last year and committed the same frauds their doing to me. I have had Brian Littrell lie about me on Tritinity Broadcast Network, been made fun of on "American Idol", been stalked by a psychotic 50 year old, webmaster, Backstreet Boys and their families, fans, lied about by the major networks and defamed and framed for crimes they have done both normal and blue collar and I can prove it all. They even blacklisted me, but they'll do the sexist thing and hire men that were ghost writers on, even pay for their college, or have their teachers go easy on them so they can, and even through I am in Ohio. It has to stop. So what would you change since this is what I am going to change, since I am tired of these famous and rich people's hiring gangs, bribing law makers, and committing documentation fraud, stealing property, money, & estates from people, and doing lawsuit scam frauds to keep money they didn't earn at all, and failing to do simple writing tests in these cases like mine. I should know, I have wrote for every major artist, record label, and studio since I was 12, almost 12 years ago, beginning on 6/16/98. I'm not sure why, maybe it's because I sing for youth service and I pay attention to my fashion. Another thing is that I used to (...kinda) have a thing with Kate's (her best friend) crush. But I'm the kind of person where I don't have anything against anyone, but I'll act a little awkward around someone I know has something against me.Jenny and I never really got to know each other well, because I guess she just hated me and I was a little too chicken to confront her so I just kept out of her way. Recently, though, we had a Sunday school session where on a piece of paper, you write what you want to say to every person in the class. I decided to pick out my good impressions of Jenny and pen them down.Jenny wrote about me something about being sorry for being cold/mean to me, and I'm sure it was genuine. I was quite pissed off, so after a million "Stop it omg!" I said "Ugh, you suck!" I did it rather jokingly, and I think I have quite a high pitched voice because I really don't like shouting. It makes me feel mean. Well, Jenny imitated my 'ugh, you suck!' and said, "You're totally flirting." I mean... wtf?! I wasn't flirting - AT ALL. I don't like him, NOT ONE BIT. He was just annoying me a lot.Another incident happend there too. John's the guy I have a crush on. We get along really well because we're both rather well-informed about celebrities and American Idol and stuff so we started rambling on and on about Idol. Jenny was cleaning up crumbs on the floor, and the napkin brushed against my foot so I looked, because I thought it was her dog. She smugly said, "Psh, you didn't even notice. You were too busy engrossed in your... conversation." and added in an undertone, "Go Elle! (my name)" in a fake-ish, encouraging way.I mean, am I not entitled to talk to a guy just because he's a guy? I have the feeling she thinks I'm a flirt, but from the previous scenarios, I really had no intent of flirting (well, maybe except for John but we were just talking, nothing more!) I don't know what to do. All of the supposed sinner actors and actresses in Hollywood are living their dreams. But that's false. He also kept saying "the wages for sin is death!" I hate when preachers yell stuff like that. I felt so bad for the youth group sitting on the other side of the room. I was sitting there thinking "all of their dreams are going to be shattered because they have to listen to this stupid sermon about their dreams not coming true because of "sin"." Fat,lazy people, stuff made in China; Wal-Mart being a good example maybe? 50 Years ago most young people would be working a good middle class job in steel work or something, and making in today's money 60 grand a year or MORE....not..not happening to most people anymore, America is becoming deindustrialized and a second rate country at an alarming pace. Almost all empires eventually collapsed due to POOR FISCAL AND ECONOMIC POLICY, COUPLED WITH POLITICAL CORRUPTIONS sound familiar? Then get this, according to Alexander Tyler & James Olson two famous philosophers, Democracies and great empires come in 8 steps before they die and crumble to their knees. Don't get me wrong some hip hop, pop music, movies are whack, but why do some use that in a sense to reminisce and call everything today fake or unreal because it doesn't give them any relation to it or it's not old school? First one, I drove to my favorite eating place at night wanting to eat, however, they don't operate at night in real life. the weird thing is I saw american idol judges having a meeting with many people, probably not the officials and I grabbed a chair to listen. I felt bored and wanted to leave. then i saw my car was missing. at d same time, there was a guy riding a bicycle cycled towards and trying to knock me, before that happened, i told myself this is a dream and asked myself to open my eyes and i did. what does this dream mean?I fell asleep again after that and had this second weird dream. In that dream, I woke up and I saw myself sleeping on the couch and suddenly the was no current. I suspected somebody was trying to break into myself. i was panic and thought why nobody was here with me. i told myself this is a dream but it was not as i knew this wasnt a dream. I opened the front door and i saw two cars. i knew they were going to shoot me and i quickly closed the door, i was in time to close the door and i didnt got shot. they fired a few bullets, maybe two. then i didnt know what to do and tried to hide. went to a room and tried to hide. before I hide, i told myself this is a dream and asked myself to open my eyes. and I woke up. what does this dream mean? and how come the first time i told myself that it was a dream and i thought it wasn't? <div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3902355849533329299-4875311666127484436?l=theamericanidolvids.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>ionbloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06429926926199554664noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3902355849533329299.post-83637045630091956632009-06-21T18:10:00.001-07:002009-06-21T18:10:02.044-07:00 I don't mean how do you tell the difference between the boogeyman and the holy man upstairs or something obvious, but how can you tell what life decisions you make, what advice you follow, what career path you take, the financial decisions you make, the way you act, your morals, what you stand for...how can you tell if that ultimately is for your best, and leads to "truth" and life and prosperity and will bring you happiness and success, over...things that are false, lies, "evil" in a loose sense, and things that will generally just take away from you and not really lead you anywhere really?It's hard because nowadays everyone seems to be living for the moment, are living in lies, dreams, delusions, they all think theyre the next american idol, or have these "ya never know i might be rich and famous someday" attitudes, selfish, just all sorts of wrongness, spend now worry later,..listen to pop icons, have s9x whenever you want...morals are for dorks....I mean, many people live and breathe the paragraph above and still succeed in life somehow or what not, but..well...I guess to each their own.But how can we really tell the difference between what's good and what's evil...in a world that's more or less....grey. Meaning it's very hard to figure out whats good from bad in our society today.what appears to be good like, looking good, presentable, successful, having a strong business image, etc, might be the path to your demise,...in a sense,....by u neverk now, making you more lonely, more busy, ruining your health...see what I'm getting at? How life's subtle choices can lead to tomorrow's heartaches.So how do we rest assured at all times that we're on the right path and that we're really doing the right thing, as opposed to things which will ultimately fail us?I've just chosen alot of paths that lead to despair, mistakes, falseness, and all sorts of evil stuff. I'm sick of it and I want to change, but it's hard when the world around us is basically crumbling as we speak. Thanks to the evil ones that is. The evil ones that think they're so smart, that want money/power, and ultimately....because of their devotion to falseness/lies/evil....they and the poeple they come into contact with and influence ..it all trickles down and eventually affects the world as a whole. that's my understanding.So being that we live in such a world, where even good intentioned people can underneath that cloak be deceitful "wrongdoers,"...how can we be guided the right way?Where do we turn? How do we KNOW..if it's good or bad?It's hard to tell.Any advice is appreciated both spiritual/religious ANd atheist.And please try to type more than a few sentences, because I took the time to type thoroughly and I'd at least respect a more thought-out answer.For example, even innocent enough things like sex8al urges. She is normal. Now they don't get along at all, but I believe got married for the sex and the 'thought' of marriage. Anyway the three of us hang out all the time. She gets along with me really well and we have so much in common, music, movies, lifestyles, ideals, everything. My best friend doesn't seemed bothered by it, but she asks me a lot of questions I feel she should only ask him. Like all the time she asks me how does she look, how does her hair look, and like she has this look on her face that my opinion makes the world for her. But she asks these questions in front of her husband, so I play them off, and be like 'you look cool, good, nice'. And then we play Rock Band, me and her always like the duel on guitar and we sing duets on American Idol, and we have went to see movies together and she comes to my house sometimes while he is at work. Now I don't want to step into dangerous territory, I don't like her in a romantic, but does she like me in a romantic way? Now what is weird is if she did I would play around with flirting with her because that would boost my ego alot if she would leave him for me and I think divorce is hilarious. But what do you think? Let me explain exactly....on two different occasions.One was I was parked at one of those QuickChek, 24 hour places where I sometimes get a quick snack, it's where people stop and go basically to get what they need, during the day. Some guy about my age parks right next to me in his pickup, and I was on my cellphone talking to my friend. He looked at me, and kept glaring at me talking on my cellphone, in a strange way. He then backed away and parked in the parking spot behind me, went in the store, and as he was coming out, he gave me the most evil "i hate you" glare ever, went to his car, with his bag of items he bought, HUUUUUUURLED it as hard as he could with this angry expression inside the passenger seat, went in, SLAMMED the door, and took off faster than I've ever seen anyone take off. I at that point was seriously startled and considered calling 911.On another occasion I was pulling out of a store parking lot, it was a food supermarket and I was at a stop sign, getting ready to turn, and some guy pulls from behind me. the few moments that we were there, he just stared at me from my mirror, we just made eye contact, and he immediatelly got this sunken, depressed look to him, like just...I don't know...for whatever reason my image or whatever he was looking at me, car, whatever, seriously disturbed him, and I thought he was gonna just...be one of those depressed bummed out people, and then unpredictably,he slams on his gas pedal, completely and violently cuts me off entirely, and goes around my car and makes the turn faster than you could blink, and I thought to myself, wow....I wasn't going slow or idling or anything, I don't know WHAt this guy's problem was but my god.Now image wise I look fine and I look good. Nothing weird and I certainly don't from my end give people weird looks or instigate weird behavior ESPECIALLY On the roads. I drive a pretty current 00s model red dodge, I'm a white male age 26, pretty long past my shoulder blonde hair, and I'm the pop culture happy yay american idol thype I guess I can describe, so my assumption is that the times we're in are hard, these people are perhaps disgruntled for whatever reason, see me, and just hate perhaps what I stand for or my image, and it makes them violantly enraged, I don't know.I'm no psychologist, but I'm doing nothing wrong from my end.Now mind you, this is just two instances. There have BEEN others. Many others, and it happens to other people as well.This one time some pretty good looking guy was driving in his convertible, and he was behind me at a light. We exchanged glances, and he basically then turned his face in this angry disguisting grimace, and friggin switched 3 lanes over in what appeared to be a whole ONE SECOND. lol.Now, ....this behavior seems to be on the increase, as well as beeping. I can't tell you HOW many times people beep at me. this one time I got out of my car to go to the store, flipped my hair, it was in my way, and some f@t lady behind the wheel of her suv, started BEEPING at me repeatedly and slamming her hands on the steering wheel.I can only assume that it's jealous behavior or whatever, or maybe I come across spoiled I don't know but....I don't deserve those kinds of reactions.In anycase, what can be wrong here,...psychologically? Can ANYONE analyze this?I mean am I doing anything wrong that I'm not seeing maybe? Have you seen Adam Lambert on stage?! His Rolling Stone photos?! Damn! And I mean DA-AAA-AMN!! THAT boy can work a CAMERA!! He has the better voice of the two, and a magnetic stage presence. I have absolutely no doubt that, with years + industry experience + a loyal fan-base + good media = class of iconic singer stardom with Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Prince, Bette Midler, Dolly Parton...I could go on. I've just always had "hunches," let's call them, about new talent in Hollywoood. Usually the ones dubbed "It Girl" or "It Guy" ARE "IT" for a minute; they have their 15 minutes of fame, and then fizzle-out into depressing bleak nonexistence.But as much as I am CU-RAAA-ZY about Adam Lambert, I wish the media would shut-up already a stupid boy-crush!! NO is the answer.But by looking at you lot here today I see, couch potatoes, canteen lovers, bored eaters and wannabe skinnies. By the end of this I promise you will all 16 kilos lighter. Welcome to fat camp!Do you spend all your pocket money at the canteen because you are too LAZY to make your own lunch? Get up earlier! And DONT make the excuse its too early go to bed earlier, you will have the same hours of sleep and you will have the time to make your lunch. You wont just be healthier but your pocket will be too. Getting up earlier will give you breakfast skippers the chance to eat the most important meal of the day. If you dont eat breakfast your overnight fast wont be broken hence breaking the fast, if this isnt broken then it could lead to over eating which causes obesity. So by getting up earlier and having the time to make you lunch this will save your money instead of spending it at the canteen. If these steps are followed you will now have lost 4 kilos.Another problem I see you campers are having troubles with is eating CONSTANTLY when you are BORED. Keep yourself busy and dont think about your stomach. If you THINK your hungry have a drink of water, this is natures magical weight-lose mineral. Water will help flush out the fat in your body if you are drinking a larger quantity of it than usual, you will notice a decrease in your appetite because you will be filled up on water and wont feel the need to eat. So if youre bored have a drink instead of junk food. You are another 4 kilos lighter already.Who here watches Shortland St, American idol, desperate housewives, gossip girl and all those other shows on the TV? A lot of you people here today are judged as a couch potato and I see why. You know everything about every show and you could catch someone up on the entire season if they missed it. Youre a couch potato; and have nothing better to do and are always on the couch watching TV. This needs to be stopped. Cut back on the time you spend sitting in front of the TV and only watch a few shows a day. If you are watching TV resist the urge to have a snack or two while youre watching. This will make you fat and not help you lose weight.If you want to get skinnier dont starve yourself this will only make it worse. You need to be healthy not anorexic or bulimic. You do need to eat 3 meals a day and maybe a light snack in between if you cutting back from constantly eating. These meals need to be healthy and not fatty. HUH?!
